This uncirculated 100 Deutsche Mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the German Central Bank for the Federal Republic of Germany. It is a reddish-blue note that is dated 02 January 1989, bear the signatures of Karl Otto Pohl and Helmut Schlesinger, and measures 154 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features buildings in Leipzig, a lyre, and the pianist Clara Schumann.

Its reverse side shows the bank logo, the Hoch Conservatory building in Frankfurt, a grand piano, and tuning fork. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetallized 100 DM and a watermark of Clara Schumann with a 100.
